My body

Let´s practice some vocabulary. Here you have a rhyme about the body. You can make the children repeat the rhyme to memorize it, in order to practice listening and speaking.

After that you can play the next video and dance with the children. They will have a lot of fun.

  1. Hi Sandra!!

I like your post very much. I think that children will spend a good time singing the song “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”. The podcast is also suitable for introducing some new vocabulary of the parts of the body. I think that you can add other activities for more practice. You can make up a puzzle of the parts of the body or you can also create an activity where children must match the image of different parts of the body with the name of them. Afterwards, you can share the word activity by using google drive so we all can print it.

    Good job Sandra.

    Best regards.

  2. Hello!

I really like your post. I think it is very helpful to record a vocabulary with our own voice. This rhyme is very simple but also easy to remember with the smallest children. And regarding to the YouTube video, it gives the children the opportunity to follow the activity that has to be with the body parts, inviting them to dance and enjoy while learning the English language.

    Nice job.
